At the World’s Edge
UK Music Foundation

From Aotearoa New Zealand to the UK

First launched in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2021, At the World’s Edge | AWE aspires to be a connecting point for musicians and audiences alike, to revel in the beauty of great art and artistry in awe-inspiring surroundings through intimate, powerful and thought provoking live-performances of chamber music.

AWE has an international mission to showcase New Zealand music and creativity, exposing audiences to music less heard or discovered, while building pathways for collaboration and movement of artists and composers between Aotearoa New Zealand and the rest of the world.

AWE aims to connect audiences and musicians of different backgrounds and generations through performances featuring leading international artists side-by-side aspiring musicians, to inspire and share the most intimate form of music with audiences and local communities.

At the Worlds Edge UK Music Foundation, a registered UK charitable trust, was officially launched in April 2025 at London’s Royal Over-seas League. Each year, the trust will present spring performances and events in the UK, with events in the process of being finalised for 2026 between April 20-24.
